Funny Times

And after almost 3 months, I write something.
Even the poem was composed quite a while ago, its just that now is the most pertinent time  for me to post it as it is lucidly reflecting my current feelings like a mirror.
This post is a pensive one, because I can see no further. I am tired of life, of getting disappointed again and again, loving and losing, hoping to achieve something and then faltering, not because I am incompetent but because the times are against me.
I admit that there was a time when luck was shining on me, every thing I touched to turned to gold. And I wished that time that, it wouldn't run out when I needed it the most.
But alas, it seems it has run out; the quota of luck that everyone is allocated; I have run out of it.
Friends leaving me, the wonderful fellowship I had with GDG Indore coming to a sweet yet inevitable end, and then this happens.

Yes, I am hurt because someone who I was intensely passionate about, fell for an idiot.
I should've seen it coming, but well then they say- "Love is Blind".
4 years of intense feelings, not even wandering to any other 'option' as they say. Even committed couples don't stay for so long, but as I said, my quota of luck was done.
I might have made some mistakes, dozens of opportunities lost, thousands of words unsaid.
Friends say I am overreacting, I just smile and tell them- "Try being passionate for something and then feel the pain. You'll not regret it." They don't have any answer.

Its true, I don't regret what I did, maybe the things I didn't do, and the unexploited opportunities.
But if given a chance to undo things and make new choices-
Would I fall for the same girl again, will I go back to her if she needs me and risk breaking my heart ?
Will I choose the same career path, knowing the obstacles I am bound to face, the risk of failure and of my dreams getting shattered again?
The answer to both, is a simple, Yes. :)
